Sunit Jilla is a London-based Offshore Outsourcing Consultant specialising in strategic planning and cross-cultural issues, with over 24 years’ experience in the software industry throughout India, the UK and Europe. Following 17 years working for Larsen and Toubro (L&T) in Mumbai and setting up their first software export liaison office in Austria, a subsequent posting to London in 1993 to spearhead their European operations resulted in regional software export revenues rising tenfold under his leadership. During this time, he also worked closely with various international organisations including Volvo, Dun & Bradstreet Europe, Porsche, German Post, UNIDO, IAEA and Ascom.

Since 1997, Sunit has provided a range of independent outsourcing consultancy services to over thirty Indian and European companies on strategic issues related to establishing an effective presence in the UK including marketing and sales, personnel, customer relationship management, business culture, PR and business alliances. His input has also been fundamental in assisting British and European companies to evaluate and find suitable partners for outsourcing their software development and business processes to India.
