Strategic Consultancy |
The Indian software industry is maturing, yet many Indian and UK companies have lost time and money reinventing the wheel or learning lessons in a costly manner. Working with more than 30 Indian software companies now firmly established in the UK, Sunit has provided consultancy to several UK companies seeking a ‘best shore' presence in India. His input has been fundamental in assisting British companies to evaluate and find suitable partners for outsourcing their software and business processes, with strategic assessments given on choice of location, use of local partners, business sector focus and a realistic assessment of growth potential.
Sunit Jilla provides consultancy from market assessment and initial start-up through to business development support, including: |
strategic planning based on competitive intelligence |
market orientation based on local /global technology trends |
management briefings in India and the UK/Europe |
pilot consultation sessions |
advisory services at different stages of/during the outsourcing process |
| Programmes are offered in a variety of ways based on an organisation’s requirements as clients differ from one another based on their exposure to the outsourcing world and different cultures, their scale of operations, their extent of globalisation and the existing business relationships that they have. |

Speaking Engagements |
Sunit is a regular contributor on outsourcing and cross-culture related matters to industry publications including Dataquest, Economic Times and the Institute of Directors, both in India and the UK. Based on his strong links with the UK, his speaking engagements have included delivering talks to the BCS (British Computer Society) and ATSCO (Association of Technical Staffing Companies) in London, and more recently, he was invited to speak on behalf of the UK Government's Department of Trade and Industry ‘Invest UK' initiative at NASSCOM 2003 in India, on the threats and opportunities posed towards the UK Software Services market. |
